Samsung unveiled the all new Galaxy Tab S in an event last Thursday in New York City. When it comes to the latest technological gadgets, at Pearl White Media we always try to keep you up to date. The new device comes in two sizes, 8.4″ and 10.5″. The company is positioning the product as a high-end tablet with a main emphasis on entertainment.
The Galaxy S boasts an incredible high-res SuperAMOLED display with 2,560 x 1,600 resolution. The screen technology gives a better color and a much deeper contract then the iPad which is their main competitor. The Samsung is equipped with an adaptive display, which changes the white balance on the tablet based on ambient light.
A new featured which the tablet borrows from the Galaxy S5 smartphone is the fingerprint scanner. The tablet is only 6.6mm thin or 0.26 inches which is actually thinner than the iPad Air. A cool feature which we liked is the fast that the Tab S includes SideSync. This let’s you pair the tablet with a Galaxy S5 phone. Once paired up, the tablet can mirror the phone’s windows letting you make calls or even transfer files or apps.
The tablet’s main feature also includes the fact that you can multitask on it. It allows the running of two apps on the screen in different windows at the same time.
We believe the company will be quite successful with the new device, and will only get better over time. We will keep you posted on any new models to come out in the near future.
