On April 14, 2010, lung cancer ended 29 year old Candice Rahal’s life, after a 4-month battle with the disease. Soon after, her fiancé Fred Ziano, turned tragedy into triumph by launching a clothing and accessories business in her memory. In the fall of 2009, Fred and Candice had already started an e-commerce apparel business called My Fashion Source. Powered by Pearl White Media, this e-tail site evolved into TieUpThe Cure.com after Candiceʼs passing.
Tie Up The Cure boasts an online catalog of 100%-silk standard neck-ties, skinny ties, handkerchiefs, plus coordinating cuff links, all cleverly packaged in decorative cylindrical metal tubes. The merchandise color palates are divided into pink (synonymous with breast cancer awareness) and red (along with the rainbow, representative of HIV/AIDS and LGBTQ support)
“Dealing with Pearl White Media has been nothing but a breath of fresh air since day one! I was referred to them by a business associate and have nothing but good things to say about this incredible team. Professionalism, hard work have proven the final end result of myfashionsource.com. I cannot thank you enough for the custom job we were able to plan out. Ive been in business 10 years and have had horror stories from previous web design companies.”
